Here Inside is an atmospheric dreampop duo from Lancaster, PA featuring Anne Kirby (vocals) and Jason Mundok (vocals, guitar, keyboard). The slow dreamy quality of their music is emphasized by reverb-soaked harmonies and a heavily effected hollow body guitar, supplemented by electronic percussion, synths, and field recordings. Mundok formed the band in 2014 to reboot a concept album he had written twenty years earlier, but after several false starts and lineup changes, Mundok and Kirby settled into a minimalist atmospheric approach to music that focuses on their material’s lyrics and vocals.
Jason Mundok also records ambient instrumental and atmospheric pop music under the name J Mundok.
